Live in fame or go down in flames, baby.

By the way, this is your Wednesday open thread, too, so fire away.

  1. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised about the homer vote on the poll question.

  2. Mike,
Are you going to do a ND spirit video?

  3. No. I wanted to, but I just couldn’t bring it together. I might be able to do something at the end of the year. My video skills atrophied while my computer was busted.

  4. OK, are you on Facebook yet? All the cool kids are doing it.

  5. The REALLY cool kids have already found me.

  6. The FDB moment (trying in vain to distract Geoff Blumenfeld as he made the game-winning kick in ’04) is the best. It really tells you everything you need to know about the man.

  7. I found you I think.

  8. Salty Sam98,

The even cooler kids are on the Navy fans application. I am the moderator/officer/god over there.

  9. george welsh is on facebook (well at last someone claiming to be george welsh), and his friends are a who’s who of football coaches from the 80’s…

  10. I have seen Craig Candeto on there as well.

  11. Good grief, do you all have myspace pages with annoying music too? ;P

  12. midwatchcowboy, of course not. That would be silly. :)

  13. Has anyone else suffered from a sympathetic hamstring pull this fall. Of course mine could be from getting old. ;)

  14. DotBone89, come to think of it, I have been walking with a limp lately.

  15. FDB was a total jackass. I’m glad PJ and the Mids gave him several huge slices of humble pie after all his gloating for so many years. You’ll find a picture of him in the dictionary under “sore loser”.

  16. Mike will you have a ND preview?

  17. No joke: I’ve had hammy problems since August — the left one.

  18. strangest/least classy thing in this video is when AF is trying to stop the mids from kneeling the ball. The falcons looked plain frustrated there, but they should have gotten that energy out when they still had a chance to win
